Randwick Botany Greens invite you to join Greens MPs Sue Higginson and Senator David Shoebridge in the first of our Speaker Series.

Sue and David have been at the forefront of holding our governments to account. This is an opportunity to hear about the pressing issues in their portfolios and ask questions.

Sue Higginson is the lead upper house candidate for The Greens in the 2027 State election and is a current State MP. She is a lawyer and has advised many protest campaigns, including the anti-Herzog march from the Town Hall that ended in brutal police violence. Sue’s portfolio responsibilities include: Justice and Attorney General; First Nations Justice and Heritage; Climate Change and Environment; and Planning.

David Shoebridge is a Greens Senator for NSW with a legal background who regularly appears in the media to provide cut through left-wing messaging on issues such as Australia’s weapons trade with Israel, criticism of Albanese’s support for the Trump/Netanyahu illegal war with Iran and flaws in Labor’s hate speech laws. David’s portfolio responsibilities include: Justice; Foreign Affairs; Defence; and Home Affairs.
