Microplastics in our environment have been in the news and are a growing concern.

We will hold an information and discussion session, led by Dr Amanda Cohn, Greens MLC about what options there are for responding to this issue startng around 12. You can register for the two component workshop and discussion event here.

Please note that accessing the lagoon edge may be difficult for some people.  We have a limit of 20 people for this hand-on part of the morning, and you will need to bring your hat (or raincoat), sunscreen, gloves and a water bottle.  For those people who want to join us for the discussion, the Marine Centre is an accessible venue. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is not fully wheelchair accessible there is ramp entry  for the workshop

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
