Join us in the cool of the early evening on Saturday 14 March to help gain signatures for our "Stop Jailing Kids" campaign!

Stop Jailing Our Kids

Kids as young as ten do not belong in custody! There are better ways of supporting vulnerable kids than locking them up. Please help us get the word out about our campaign to urge the NSW government to raise the age of criminal responsibility to at least 14.

Why Bidwill? A beautiful suburb where there are hundreds of First Nations families--and it is First Nations kids who suffer the most from present policies. Let's work to change the law so Bidwill kids can stay connected with their family, their culture, their community, their local open spaces, and all the opportunities that are available to kids in our society.

Please wear comfortable clothes that suit the weather, rather than a Greens tee shirt.

Please bring sunscreen, a water bottle and a hat/umbrella.

If the weather is not good, we will postpone. Please watch your email on the day if the weather is uncertain.

The letterboxing may not be wheelchair accessible--that depends on the local footpaths.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
