We’ll be letterboxing our neighbourhood with Stop Jailing Our Kids flyers, then coming together to talk about next steps and building our local campaign towards the State 2027 Election.

Join us to send a clear message to the NSW Government: children as young as 10 do not belong in custody. This is about community power, care, and standing up for kids’ rights.

We will meet at Mawson Park at 2:00pm, before heading out to letterbox Stop Jailing Our Kids flyers in the surrounding streets.

Please wear comfortable clothes suited to the weather,.

Bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a hat or umbrella so you can stay safe and comfortable.

Afterwards, we’ll meet at The Campbell at 3:30pm to debrief, plan next steps, and kick off conversations about building our State 2027 election campaign committee - a chance to help shape the strategy, grow our team, and start laying the groundwork for a winning campaign.

You are welcome to come to both the letterboxing and The Campbell meeting, or just join whichever part works for you.

Please note that letterboxing may not be wheelchair accessible, depending on local footpaths.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know that someone under 18 will be attending.
