Please join us on Tuesday the 20th of May to find out more about our plan for safer and more liveable local streets.

We know one of the best ways to create more liveable streets for local communities is to deliver safer speeds of 30km/h. Safer speeds on local streets will help create nicer neighbourhoods where all people feel safe – regardless of whether they’re walking, riding their bike, or driving.

I’ll be joined by Dr Jennifer Kent, spokesperson for 30 Please and a Senior Research Fellow in Urbanism at the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. We’ll discuss the evidence supporting safer speeds at 30km/h on local streets, and we’ll talk about successful examples all around the world and how we can make it happen here in Australia.

As always there will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and get involved in the discussion!

This event will be held online - register to receive the Zoom link.

Register to join the conversation and find out how to get involved in our campaign to create safer streets for everybody.
