Alternatives to AUKUS

Here’s a rare opportunity for all Riverina Greens members and supporters to enjoy an evening with Greens NSW Senator David Shoebridge and Greens Riverina campaign candidate Pheonix Valxori.

Senator Shoebridge’s visit to Wagga Wagga in support of the Greens federal election campaign. As a senator has exposed Australia’s arms trade with Israel, but the focus of this visit is to share his research and bravely outspoken understanding of how we could replace the unreliable, expensive and offensive AUKUS deal with a reliable and strong local defensive armaments position.

Senator Shoebridge’s position is in marked contrast to Michael McCormack’s over the top endorsement of AUKUS. At the CWA Meet the Candidate’s forum McCormack actually boasted about his pivotal secret role in developing the initial AUKUS proposal. David’s speech and Q&A will expose the fallacy of McCormack’s claims, and of all the other false claims about AUKUS.

To enjoy a meal and a drink with David simply buy your drink at the main bar, where you can also order your dinner. Then come up to the Ambassador Room on the first floor, either by lift or the stairs. You will have been given an electronic pager/gadget when you ordered your dinner, which will buzz and flash when your meal is ready for you to go down to the hatch downstairs to collect it, and then to bring it upstairs.
