Doorknocking is one of the most effective campaigning tactics we have at our disposal as it gives us the opportunity to talk to the community face to face, allowing us to have more persuasive conversations. It is the best way to change someone’s vote and so it’s very important that we get out there and talk to as many voters as possible.
 

We will meet at Louisa Lawson Reserve at 10am. Once the doorknock concludes we will head to the Marrickville Prepoll booth to give support to our volunteers handing out, demonstrate local support to voters and provide supplies.
 
If you have not doorknocked before that is okay! We will run a brief training at the start and we will make sure you are paired up with someone who is experienced so you can learn from them. Everyone will be paired up so you don’t have to worry about doing it alone.
 
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring something for sun safety and wet weather.
 
We will have a debrief and food/drinks afterwards at Albermarle Cafe.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event, wheelchair accessibility cannot be guaranteed.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
