Join Greens Deputy Leader and Senator for NSW Mehreen Faruqi and Federal Candidates and Local Councillors to hear about our campaign plans for the upcoming federal election

This year has been incredibly difficult. But amid the grief, we have been able to build the foundations of a strong community rooted in justice, equality and human dignity. It’s important to remember that during these times, solidarity and community are the antidote.

This BBQ and picnic will be an opportunity for us to come together to reconnect and recharge as we prepare for the upcoming Federal election.

You’ll meet our Federal candidates and local Councillors, hear about our campaign for people and planet and how we can all organise together to deliver change.

Labor and the Liberals will not tackle the real problems like cost of living, climate change, housing, student debt and ending Australia’s complicity into the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The Greens are fighting to make a difference, but it won’t happen overnight. Working together and building a community- and grassroots-driven campaign is the first step in seeing that change happen.

We will provide food and drinks but please feel free to bring a plate if you'd like to.
