Join our guest speakers Sue Higginson MLC and Senator David Shoebridge as they discuss Protest and the Police state

Join NSW Greens MP Sue Higginson to discuss the state of Protest and Policing in New South Wales.

Democracy and good governance rests upon a foundation of civil and political rights. The health and strength of a democracy is reflected in the way we treat and respect those acting peacefully for environmental and social change.

The right to protest and the fair treatment of those who engage in non-violent civil disobedience are the cornerstone of a functioning democracy. For the last twenty years successive governments have hammered away at our ability to peacefully protest and they have introduced and encouraged harsh and cruel treatment of those who engage in acts of non-violent civil disobedience.

Join Sue and an incredible panel to discuss the current state of Protest here in the NSW Police State.

Speakers include:

  • NSW Senator, David Shoebridge
  • Palestine Action Group Organiser and “serial protester”, Josh Lees
  • Rising Tide Organiser, Zack Schofield
