Inspire Inclusion: International Women's Day Breakfast

Mandy Nolan, the Byron Greens and The S.H.I.F.T Project are delighted to invite you to our International Women's Day breakfast on March 8th.

We come together to raise funds for the S.H.I.F.T Project, and to celebrate the strength and diversity of the inspiring women in our region.

The S.H.I.F.T. Project is an independent charity that supports women experiencing disadvantage to reintegrate into the community, moving away from vulnerability and towards self-worth and self-sufficiency. SHIFT supports women through the challenges they face moving from homelessness to independence, from welfare to wellbeing.

This year's International Women's Day theme is #InspireInclusion. We celebrate diverse women - old women, young women, women of colour, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women experiencing disability, women experiencing vulnerability, LGBTQI+ women, all the women! We celebrate the wisdom that comes with diversity, and reflect on the challenges that diverse women face in our community.

Our panel discussion will be facilitated by Mandy Nolan, Greens Candidate for Richmond, and will feature women's voices from across our community: Delta Kay, Anne Goslett, Elia Hauge and Fay Jackson.

Breakfast and coffee/tea is included in the ticket price.

This event is fully wheelchair accessible. Accessible parking in Clarke's beach carpark, short distance over paved path to venue, venue is accessible with accessible bathrooms.
