This Australian documentary (96 mins) investigates how the use of a product as seemingly harmless as firefighting foam (PFAS), has resulted in the contamination of communities all over the world, from New York City to Wreck Bay, Booderee National Park.

Join the Gilmore Greens election campaign to watch the recently released Australian Doco, How to Poison a Planet (an investigation by The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age journalist Carrie Fellner in collaboration with director Katrina McGowan of iKandy Films.)

The documentary chronicles a years-long search for justice as thousands of communities worldwide have discovered their blood, properties and water supplies are contaminated with PFAS (also known as the 'forever chemicals'). The Aboriginal Community in Wreck Bay, Booderee National Park, is one of these communities.

After the film, Clive Freeman, activist and Traditional Owner from Wreck Bay will speak at a Q and A session. He will be joined by Debbie Killian, Greens Candidate for Gilmore.

Note: Ticket price includes a small donation for the Gilmore campaign.

This event is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a disability parking spot, wheelchair access on the side and sound for hearing impaired people.
