Greens Doorknocking for Summer Hill Campaign

Come turn Marrickville green with us!

Candidate for Summer Hill Clr Izabella Antoniou will be joined by firebrand MLC Sue Higginson to connect with locals in Marrickville about some of the key issues that matter to them most by conducting a targeted doorknock!

We'll also be promoting our event with Sue and civil rights solicitor Nick Hanna, taking place the following day at Marrickville's Red Rattler Theatre.

Doorknocking is one of the most effective campaigning tactics we have at our disposal as it gives us the opportunity to talk to the community face to face, allowing us to have more persuasive conversations. It is the best way to change someone’s vote and so it’s very important that we get out there and talk to as many voters as possible.

We will meet at McNeilly Park in Marrickville at 2:30pm, Jersey St, Marrickville NSW 2204.

If you have not doorknocked before, that is okay! We will run a brief training at the start and we will make sure you are paired up with someone who is experienced so you can learn from them. Everyone will be paired up so you don’t have to worry about doing it alone.

Please wear a Greens shirt or badge if you have one, as well as bringing something for sun safety and wet weather.

We will have a debrief and grab a bite to eat/something to drink at the Marrickville Tavern after! Location: 296 Marrickville Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204.

The Marrickville Tavern is wheelchair accessible.

Please contact the event organiser with any accessibility requests as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be discussed and organised where possible.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
