Qld NM Welcome Event Phone Bank

Calling new members is the most effective way to connect and invite them to upcoming events.

Branch Membership Officers and other friendly folks from our branches are the perfect person to make contact with our new members from the past 12 months and invite them along to one of our New Member Welcome & Info Sessions.

The new member events are a chance for new members to take an inside look at the workings of our Party, and learn about the many ways they can get actively involved in their local Greens branch. Check out the events we will be inviting them to attend:
In person - Tuesday 28 July 5.30pm - 8pm
Online - Tuesday 4 August, 6pm - 8pm <need link>

We will be making calls on Thursday nights over the course of 3 weeks. You can either come along to the State Office in person, or join us online via Google Meet as we run through the briefing session and then make calls from the list you'll be allocated.

Not made calls to members before, or need a refresh? Training will be provided, and you'll also get a list of people in your area to call, as well as a support script for talking points if you need it.

You'll need a laptop and a phone, and a couple of hours on a Thursday night to do these calls in a supported group, either online via Google Meet, or in person at the Qld Greens State Office in Merivale St, South Brisbane.

Please check your level of access to Greens systems prior to the phone bank session. Log into https://contact-qld.greens.org.au/ and check that you can access List Manager from the home screen.
