The political landscape is shifting rapidly before our eyes, bringing both enormous opportunity and serious risk for progressive politics. It’s time to develop the plan for the next phase of the Greens.

Our current four-year campaign strategy concludes at the end of this year. With the next Federal election possible as early as August 2027, now is the time to build a bold, flexible and ambitious strategy - a north star to guide our movement through to 2030.

The Victorian Campaigns Committee will be running a number of sessions to consult with the membership what this 4 year strategy looks like.

This strategy will cover:

  • The impact we want inside and outside of government

  • Our campaign goals for the next 4 years, including:

    • 2027/28 Federal election

    • 2028 Local Council election

    • 2030 State election

    • Byelections

    • Any other forms of campaigning 

  • How we win campaigns

This session is focused on seeking feedback from Northern Metro members, but all members are encouraged to attend if you cannot attend another session.
