Are you worried about our early learning system? You’re not alone.
Join Senator Steph Hodgins-May, Australian Greens spokesperson for early childhood education, and Maddy Butler from The Parenthood for a frank and timely conversation on how we fix early childhood education and put kids before profit.
Every child deserves safe, high-quality early learning.
But recently, distressing abuse allegations in childcare centres have laid bare a system in crisis - one that’s failing too many families.
Recent government measures are a start, but they fall short of addressing the deeper systemic issues that put children at risk and fail to ensure quality care.
That’s why we’re inviting you to join this important conversation with the Parenthood.
We’ll discuss:
What the recent government reforms mean - and what’s missing
Our vision for a truly universal, high-quality early education system
Steps that families, educators and advocates can take together to give our kids the best start at life
This is about more than preventing harm.
It’s about building a future where every child has access to safe, high-quality early learning and where families and educators are respected, resourced, and supported.
