Join the Walk for Truth with Greens MPs and Councillor

First Nations activists and allies are joining Yoorrook Deputy Chair Commissioner Travis Lovett on a powerful Walk for Truth.

The Walk began on Gunditjmara Country at Portland, where colonisation began, and will travel through Warrnambool, Colac, Geelong and Footscray, finishing at Parliament House on Wednesday 18 June.

Join Greens Leader Ellen Sandell, Greens MPs and Councillors for the Werribee to Footscray leg on Sunday 15 June.

  • Meet at the University of Melbourne Werribee campus at 8am for coffee, pastries, and a welcome from Commissioner Lovett and university leaders.
  • From there, the walk follows the Federation Trail, ending at McIvor Reserve in Yarraville.
  • The walk is approximately 21 km and will take approximately 5 hours.
  • We encourage you to wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat, and bring plenty of water.
