Introduction to Dune Care and planting at Shelly Beach

Arriving at the South East corner of the Shelly Beach Surf Club at 8.45 am you will be issued with tools and gloves. (Long pants, sleeves, hats and UV protection are advised.) The two coordinators will introduce you to the site a short distance away and guide you through the goals of Dune Care.This will include an explanation of the plants that will be provided. 

Although the Dunes may not be wheel chair accessible, members and supporters who use wheel chairs are welcome to attend and support in any way they feel comfortable , including the cafe afterwards. 

It is, however, a site that can be accessed by all ages, so feel free to bring your family and friends. No pets please. We will work at a relaxed pace over the next two hours with plenty of opportunity to hydrate and enjoy the morning. On finishing the two hours ( or at any time you choose) the cafe is available for a debrief and general chat. There is a limit of approximately 20 participants so please register as soon as possible, not forgetting friends and family.  Any questions please contact Bob via text on 0412160683.
