A challenging Blue Mountains adventure combining fire trails with steep ascents to Mount Banks summit. Varied terrain offers spectacular escarpment views and dense bushland exploration. Significant elevation gain requires good fitness levels for this rewarding full-day hike.

• Date: Sunday 3 August
• Time: 9.15am for 9.30am start, finish by 3pm
• What: 12.4km loop track, hard walking over varied terrain with spectacular views, some fire trail as well as significant uphill to summit of Mount Banks
• Meet: Mount Banks Picnic Area (off Bells Line of Road)
• Transport: Private car
