Greens candidates Greg Watkinson (Charlestown) and Kim Grierson (Lake Macquarie) are excited to be launching their NSW election campaigns and are thrilled to be supported at this event by two amazing Greens First Nations women in Senator Lidia Thorpe and Upper house candidate Lynda-June Coe.
Senator Lidia Thorpe is a proud DjabWurrung Gunnai Gunditjmara woman, a human rights, climate and forest activist, a mother, grandmother and survivor of family violence. Lidia will join the launch on the big screen via Zoom. Lynda-June Coe is Wiradjuri Badu Island Yinaa Educator, Activist, PhD Candidate and Indigenous sovereign being.
The campaign launch will be on Awabakal land.
Join us to hear directly from Kim and Greg on the issues they care about including treaty and first nations justice, tackling the climate crisis, building the economy, environmental protection, healthcare and education; as well as how you can connect with them and how they will represent you in the NSW Parliament. Stay and chat with Kim and Greg over cuppa and home baked cake.
